On Friday, 20 February 2026, the Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC) welcomed 44 faculty members and students from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep for an industrial study visit
The visit was organized as part of the Bachelor of Engineering curriculum, covering courses in Industrial Engineering Laboratory, Production Planning and Control, Quality Control, and Industrial Plant Design. The objective was to broaden students’ perspectives and strengthen their hands-on experience through exposure to real industrial practices.
During the visit, students explored actual manufacturing processes, quality control systems, production planning methods, and factory management approaches within a modern industrial environment at the Learning Factory Technology Center. The experience enabled them to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications, providing a strong foundation for their future careers in industrial engineering.
