Welcomed teachers and high school students (Grades 10–12 / Matthayomsuksa 4–6) from Nikomwittaya School, Rayong, on a study visit to Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC).
September 11, 2026 — Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC) welcomed a delegation of approximately 130 teachers and students from Nikomwittaya School, Nikhom Phatthana District, Rayong Province, on the occasion of their visit to the institute. The study visit aimed to explore advanced manufacturing technologies aligned with modern industry, supporting the school’s technology curriculum and enhancing students’ potential to keep pace with cutting-edge innovations.






During the visit, the faculty and students gained hands-on experience under the topic “Factory Automation Solution: Automation, Robotics, and Internet of Things (IoT).” This session provided participants with a clear understanding of automated systems integrated with IoT technologies, as well as practical approaches to applying these solutions to enhance real-world production efficiency.






Additionally, the delegation toured the institute’s learning facilities, laboratories, and advanced machinery, where expert instructors provided interactive demonstrations. The students and teachers showed particular interest in the integration of automation and IoT, as well as the application of the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) quality management principle for systematic process planning and continuous improvement. This visit helped strengthen practical skills, provide hands-on experience, and inspire students to prepare themselves to become a vital workforce in the future manufacturing industry.
