the Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC) welcomed a delegation of lecturers, educational staff, and students from the Faculty of Engineering, Pathumwan Institute of Technology, totaling 55 participants, for a study visit and an overview presentation on the institute’s operations.
The objective of this study visit was to enhance real-world working experience for students from various academic programs, including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing and Chemical and Environmental Process Engineering, as well as Integrated Engineering. During the visit, students gained insights into operational systems, technologies, and organizational management approaches aligned with their academic curricula.
On this occasion, the delegation toured SIMTEC’s training facilities, infrastructure, and the Learning Factory, which serves as a hands-on learning environment that integrates academic knowledge with practical applications in the industrial sector.
