the Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC) welcomed executives and representatives from SIAM TOYOTA MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. for a study visit and knowledge exchange on human resource development and learning systems for the manufacturing industry. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration and enhance workforce capabilities in alignment with future industrial transformation.
During this study visit, the executives and representatives toured SIMTEC’s training facilities and infrastructure, including the Learning Factory, advanced manufacturing technology learning systems, and the IoT Studio. They also received an overview of SIMTEC’s curriculum design approach, which integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application in real factory environments. In addition, both parties exchanged views on workforce development standards, technical skill enhancement, systems thinking development, and preparing personnel to meet the demands of the modern manufacturing industry.
The discussions reflected the shared commitment of both organizations to systematic and sustainable human resource development. SIMTEC remains ready to serve as a learning hub and strategic partner in workforce development, supporting the industrial sector in strengthening its competitiveness and achieving long-term sustainable growth.
