OIC brings participants of the Thailand Insurance Leadership Program (TILP) Class 13 to visit the Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC).


On Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM, the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) led participants of the Thailand Insurance Leadership Program (TILP) Class 13 (วปส. รุ่นที่ 13) on a study visit to the Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC) in Chonburi province. The purpose was to learn and exchange experiences with the institute, which specializes in creative management and the development of skills in manufacturing machinery and modern innovation. This aims to enhance organizational potential in response to changes in global politics, economics, and society, as well as support the needs of the Industry 4.0 era and the development of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).


Mr. Chairat Banthaotuk, a representative of the executive team and the Institute Director, offered a welcome address. He then presented an overview of the institute’s history, vision, mission, and operational role in developing skills and elevating knowledge and capability for personnel in the industrial sector. This was to ensure that the executives and the study group understood the institute’s operational approach and its cooperation with the industrial sector.


Following the presentation, the executives and the delegation toured the Learning Factory, a practical learning technology center that simulates real manufacturing processes. The activity concluded with an exchange of ideas, experiences, and approaches to integrating knowledge in technology and creative management, aligning with changes in global politics, economics, and society
