Representatives from the management and lecturers of Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC) participated in a discussion and knowledge exchange on modern manufacturing technology with the Eastern Region Institute of Vocational Education
On October 29, 2025, Mr. Narong Kasertpibarn, Director of the Eastern Region Institute of Vocational Education, assigned Mr. Jirapong Chanprasert and Mr. Prateep Chulalert, Deputy Directors of the Institute, along with Mr. Sawai Seeboochande, Assistant Director of the Institute, to welcome the delegation of executives and lecturers from Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC), Amata City Industrial Estate, Rayong.
The purpose of this meeting was to exchange knowledge on modern manufacturing technology, especially focusing on the course: “CNC Machine for High Efficiency Operator,” which emphasizes developing and upgrading the skills of personnel in CNC machinery to be highly efficient and aligned with the demands of the digital industrial sector.
Furthermore, the SIMTEC executives and lecturers visited the Digital and Automation Robotics Operations Center at the Vocational Education Research and Development Center, Eastern Region Institute of Vocational Education, to observe the facility and exchange approaches for developing instruction in automation technology and creating integrated curricula in collaboration with enterprises.
This activity marks another important step in the cooperation between the Eastern Region Institute of Vocational Education and Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC) in developing knowledge and skills for vocational manpower to meet the needs of the industry of the future
