On Wednesday, March 30, 2026, Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC) welcomed faculty members and first- and third-year students from the Industrial Management Engineering program, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University, on the occasion of their study visit.
The purpose of this visit was to enhance industrial knowledge and practical experience for both lecturers and students, enabling them to apply what they have learned and further develop their skills in alignment with current industry practices, as well as to prepare for the rapidly growing industrial landscape of the future.
During the visit, participants attended a lecture on the role of Industry 4.0 technologies and how to adapt to the emerging industrial era. This knowledge will support their future development in industrial management. In addition, the group toured the Learning Factory, a hands-on learning environment designed to provide practical insights and skill development, helping to prepare a competent workforce for the industrial sector.
This study visit served as another valuable activity to strengthen and enrich students’ knowledge, equipping them to become key contributors in driving the next generation of industry.
