The executives and instructors visited BMW Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd..
Thursday, March 19, 2026 – Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC), led by its executives and instructors, visited BMW Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to exchange knowledge and perspectives on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in manufacturing processes and organizational management.
The purpose of this visit was to broaden perspectives on AI-driven technology development that enhances industrial performance—improving quality, reducing waste, and increasing operational flexibility—while also exploring future collaboration opportunities between the organizations.
During the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to observe key manufacturing processes, including Battery Assembly and Body Assembly, which are core components of modern automotive production, particularly in the rapidly growing Electric Vehicle (EV) sector.
This visit marks another important step in strengthening collaboration between the education and industrial sectors, aiming to jointly develop workforce capabilities and technologies aligned with the evolving demands of the digital era in a sustainable manner.
