Participants of the Mid-Level Vocational Education Administrator Program (Nok.), Batch 2, on the occasion of their study visit to the Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC).

On Wednesday, 18 March 2026, the Sumipol Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTEC) welcomed a group of civil servants, teachers, and educational personnel from the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), represented by the Bureau of Competency Development for Vocational Teachers and Personnel. The visitors were participants in the Middle-Level Vocational Education Administrator Program (Nork.) Batch 2, attending a study visit and relationship-building activity. The purpose was to enable participants to learn, exchange experiences, and broaden their perspectives on organizational management in an era of rapid industrial transformation.

The study visit aimed to exchange perspectives on organizational management and the development of training curricula that respond effectively to industry needs in a time of rapid technological advancement. The discussion also covered analytical approaches to designing industry-aligned training programs, as well as methods for monitoring and evaluating learners’ outcomes and the practical application of knowledge. These efforts support organizational development toward competitiveness in terms of efficiency, cost, safety, and adaptability to future changes.

During the visit, the delegation also toured the Learning Factory, a technology-enabled learning center that focuses on hands-on skill development to prepare the industrial workforce.

In addition, participants exchanged ideas and operational approaches with SIMTEC on its role as a hub for manufacturing workforce development that bridges industry and education. The visit provided an important opportunity to strengthen collaborative networks and extend knowledge sharing, contributing to more effective and efficient management in the vocational education system in the future.
